Today, my guest is Laci Bean.
Laci Bean is the co-host of the "Deadly Faith" podcast, which examines the intersection of religion and crime, focusing on cases of religious abuse, cults, and criminal activities by religious figures. Having deconstructed her own faith, she brings a unique perspective to the podcast. Additionally, Laci is a certified trauma recovery coach specializing in religious trauma, helping others navigate their healing journeys.
We had such a great conversation, neither of us wanted it to end. The rabbit trails we went down were so much fun and the topics had everything to do with why being queer is such a foundational part of who we are and how we come into our authenticity. Religious deconstruction was what started both of us on our queer journey of self discovery and in the process, we healed a lot of our own religious upbringing and really started to heal from the inside out.
