What do an acid bath, too much CGI, and an awkward dance number have in common? They’re all a part of our average weekend. Oh, wait, no — they’re all in the third (and hopefully last) Venom movie.
In this Raised By Video episode, we heroically endure the final installment of the trilogy nobody asked for. While there are a few laughs to be had and some fun action sequences, overall this movie is about as messy as the rest of the Spider-Man villain-verse. While it doesn’t sink to Madame Web or Morbius levels, it comes close — even Tom Hardy can’t carry this whole thing on his back.
But, as we always say, the worser the movie, the funner the review. Yeah, we speak English real nice. So get your symbiote ready and bring some heads to munch on, because this episode is a doozy.
Venom: The Last Dance is a 2024 comic book movie written and directed by Kelly Marcel. It stars Tom Hardy, Chiwetel Ejiofor (not as his character from the Dr. Strange movies), Juno Temple, Rhys Ifans (not as Dr. Connor), Stephen Graham, and Peggy Lu.
