As huge fans of A History of Violence and Eastern Promises, we were excited to see Mortensen and Cronenberg together again, but our excitement didn’t last through the slow and muddled mess that is Crimes of the Future.
Luckily, we make performance art out of tumorous growths in this episode by joking about Jordan Peterson, Rick and Morty, and our hypochondriacal tendencies. We also discuss why this movie didn’t work for us, compare it to other Cronenberg films, and share a few funny anecdotes from our childhood.
