Description

In this week’s Patron-only episode, we review a modern take on the Ray Bradbury classic about the dangers of censorship.

Someone should probably censor us once in a while, because our tangents in this one might get us canceled. We come up with a highly offensive new name for Michael B. Jordan, argue about marshmallow toasting techniques, and explain how this movie ties into the Batman extended universe (it doesn’t).

Between all that, we actually manage some serious discussion about censorship, and we (of course) compare this movie to the novel on which it’s based. Hit play for another fun episode from the Doggett brothers.

Fahrenheit 451 is a 2018 dystopian film directed by Ramin Bahrani; written by Bahrani and Amir Naderi, based on the story of the same name by Ray Bradbury. It stars Michael B. Jordan, Michael Shannon, Sofia Boutella, Khandi Alexander, Grace Lynn Kung, Lilly Singh, and Martin Donovan.
