For the first time since starting the pod, new music was released featuring Tim Armstrong. So we dive into the Interrupters, the band bringing ska and hellcat records back to the mainstream. Previously Tim was a co-songwriter on many of the Interrupters songs and such they came off like bubblegum Rancid. This new album was mostly written outside the influence of Tim. Can Brad handle the pop chart ska? Is this track anything other than a collection of guests? Rhoda Dakar is amazing, is she used to her full potential here? Why cram both features on the same song? Why does Amy Interrupter have to sound so much like the child of Brody Dalle and Tim…yeesh…
