If you are one of those people that have felt bad, or currently feel bad for being creative, or shining your light, or daring to choose joy in the midst of darkness, or chaos, or sadness, or anger, or loss… here’s your encouragement and the reminder that you can and you should shine your light. Not to the detriment of not feeling your feelings or not being empathetic to others. If you listen to me and know me at all, you know that I’m all about feeling our feelings and letting our body process through them rather than avoiding them. However, no one benefits if you jump in the pool with them if you are drowning too. Take care of your light, and your love and your well-being with the confidence in knowing that is the best way you can be of service and actually be effective and powerful for making real change and helping others who can’t see the light at the moment. You can be the lighthouse in the dark.
