Description

Disappointment is a feeling that comes when we hoped for something that didn't happen or have expectations about a person or situation. This is not always a bad thing, and feeling disappointment is part of the human experience. Yet, having expectations can be limiting and cause us to suffer unneccessarily. I share with you how I'm navigating in real time the feeling of disappointment and talk about something that happened recently. I talk about how I'm using all the tools and focus on what's coming up for me, rather than blaming them for my feelings. The amount of sadness, sorrow, grief, and disappointment we allow ourselves to feel in any given moment is also partly related to how deeply we can also feel joy and bliss.
