In this episode, I get nerdy!

Being a human on planet earth is not typically easy. We have many demands and for the most part as a species, we are stressed, exhausted, sick, and overwhelmed.

We need tools that are simple, effective, and that we can apply anywhere, anytime and with ease to create more ease and function.

This is where Brain-Heart Coherence enters.

With Brain-Heart Coherence, we can harness our inner resources and cultivate more resilience.

When we:

1) Connect with our heart by placing our hand on our chest AND

2) Breathe slowly and mindfully as we inhale through the nose and exhale through the mouth (5 seconds on in breath and out breath recommended, but do what is most comfortable) and breathe as if we are breathing from our heart area AND

3) At the same time, intentionally bring to mind an elevated heart-felt emotion such as Gratititude, Compassion, Care, Appreciation, or Joy. We connect with and feel the bodily sensations of these emotions and sustain them....

THEN WE:

-Harness our natural gifts and utilize our physiology to our benefit for health and wholeness

-Take control of our nervous system so we have less stress, create more balance and peace and coherence between our heart, mind, emotions, and physical systems.

-Strengthen our immune system, balance hormones, prevent rapid aging that stress brings

-Create more clarity and calm while maintaining alertness

-Improve our self-security, cognitive ability, communications, & relationships
