Just when we think we’ve conquered something or worked through a pattern—-our trauma, our anger, our betrayal, our jealousy, our self-abandonment, or self-doubt, or whatever it is, those same old thoughts, feelings, and circumstances seem to keep re-appearing and test us.
In this episode, I share how these patterns and lessons are normal and cyclical and that every time something like this comes back around, it is a form of a spiritual test to see how we respond--this time around as the newest version of who we are now, and who we’ve become since the last time it happened. Since then, we’ve hopefully learned and our wisdom and insight has deepened. Ideally, we can respond in new, more adaptive and beneficial ways.
