Description

I started using drugs at just 9 years old. Growing up around addiction, it felt normal—like the only way to fit in with my family. What I thought would bring me closer to them ended up stealing everything from me. By middle school, I was deep in it. I lost my passion for things I loved, like art and school. I even lost a scholarship because of it. Addiction took my jobs, my marriage, my freedom, and the hardest part—time away from my kids. I used to think I’d never escape it. But recovery is possible. No matter how far gone you feel, there’s always a way back. If any of this sounds familiar, please know you’re not alone. It starts with one decision—and it can change everything.
