Years ago, horror director Mick Garris got together with several of his friends and colleagues for a dinner in Sherman Oaks. When one, Guillermo del Toro, wished a happy birthday to a nearby patron, an idea came to them. Thus was born the Masters of Horror series: twenty-six hourlong made-for-TV movies, including one that Garris called “the most disturbing film” that he had ever seen.
And I will be giving you my brief thoughts on all of them.
