We go off the beaten path to explore the weird and wonderful genre of folk horror. In addition to Robert Eggers’ debut The Witch, and the more recent movies of Apostle and Midsommar, we also talk A Field in England, Eyes of Fire, the Soviet Union’s first horror film, and a harrowing and hypnotic Native American film known in English as Edge of the Knife.
