TFG1Mike, Steve and Chuck dive into Arrow Season 2, discussing the show's improved action, stronger cast additions like Roy Harper (Colton Haynes), Sarah Lance/Black Canary (Katie Lotz), and the standout villain Slade Wilson (Manu Bennett). They break down the season's flashback sequences revealing Oliver and Slade's island history, the introduction of Barry Allen, appearances by the Suicide Squad, and Sebastian Blood's arc as a Slade puppet. While praising the season's direction and character development overall, they critique Laurel's prolonged grieving arc and Summer Glau's underutilized role as Isabel Rochev. Both hosts rate Season 2 a 4.5 out of 5, noting it sets up an exciting foundation for Season 3 while leaving them wanting more development for supporting characters like Diggle. The episode concludes with talk of Season 3's new villains and the shift away from island flashbacks toward new mysteries.
