Description

Rhythm & Wit presents a special report from one of the country’s oldest screening rooms along Oklahoma City’s historic Film Row!

This video was filmed on Sunday, August 3rd 2025 during the first "Church of Cinema", hosted by Dalton Stuart at the Film Row screening room. The film shown was 2017's "First Reformed" written and directed by Paul Schrader and starring Ethan Hawke. A Q&A with Dalton and his podcast co-host Dustin Sells followed the screening.

The second half of this video features interviews conducted by Holly York with some of the members of the Oklahoma Film Exchange, including River Lunsford, Jessi Kyle, Hannah Collins and Dalton Stuart.

"Oklahoma Film Exchange was formed by members of the Oklahoma City film and arts scene to preserve cinema, celebrate culture, and build community. Our goal as an organization is to preserve the Film Row screening room as an accessible and inclusive space for film lovers and the performing arts alike."

"Currently, the screening room is being used by a different company that plans to end their tenure in the space- taking everything with them. We are hoping to raise enough funds to move in after them, purchase their screening equipment, and keep the space running as a theater. "
