Ruby and Shea Locke split up and seek out the legendary Pokemon we were granted access to when the Radio Tower Director gave us special items. Shea Locke heads to the Whirl Islands and plunges into the depths of their interlocking cave system until finally dropping down a waterfall to confront Lugia! Menawhile, Ruby climbs Tin Tower and through a maze of ramps until she finally reaches the top where Ho-oh roosts. In Crystal there was an interesting confrontation with sages before battling Suicune at the base of Tin Tower. From there, we skate around Ice Path until we reach Blackthorn City and another Gym Leader who won't hand over our hard won badges. We also catch a handful of Pokemon and evolve some more.
