We did it! We've made it through the Orange Islands, we reunited with Brock! and we have kicked Tracey to the curb. Before we get back home to Pallet Ash says goodbye to Lapras and helps save a town from Electrode overpopulation. Then, upon returning, he and his friends are rescued by...not someone Ash is happy about and then we finally get the opening match from Pokemon Yellow. Then it is farewell Pallet again as Ash heads for Johto!
Then, in the Manga, we find an epic battle between Yellow, Lance, and a 3rd trainer from Viridian Forest with his OWN pokemon from that forest??? Who is that...it's the same man that apparently gave Red the special evolution stones and freed him from ice. But will all this be enough to stop Lance's plans and what the heck is that giant flying pokemon!?
Then, we encounter tragic events in the lives of Violet and Midori in the winding caverns of Mt. Moon. Will they be able to continue their journey to collect the gym badges? Or has it come to end before it really had a chance to begin...
