This episode is inspired by a documentary I watched called The Jinx: Part 2.
It's a follow up to a documentary that was originally released in 2015.
While watching the show I discovered two young men who are lawyers.
These young men spoke in depth about the love they have for what they do.
They went on to explain how they worked long hours after school & would take on additional work like listening to audio of the case while working on simpler tasks to help the seasoned lawyers.
These boys could Not have been older than 22 or 23 years of age.
Yet they beamed from the inside out about the work that they did with authenticity & passion.
These boys had something that stood out.
I realized they had GRIT.
In this episode of the podcast, I discuss how watching these boys in action inspired me.
I got to thinking about the energy of Grit and where it comes from.
I surprised myself to discover that Grit doesn't particularly come down to traumas or misfortunes. It doesn't come down to how smart or intelligent a person is either.
If Grit doesn't come down to having a "chip on your shoulder" or how smart you are; Then where does it come from?
