I once had an old manager tell me "it takes seven years to become an overnight success." He told me that when I was about 19 and the older I get, the more I start to see he was right. You can't pick up a guitar one day, and the next be Brian May. You (probably) aren't going to win the lottery and finally build your dream home. And you definitely aren't going to "luck" your way into a successful business. It takes years of hard work, dedication, and failure. But if you put in the work, day after day, and refuse to give up, you'll find your success.
