I’ve been getting a lot of questions about how to ensure that DEI efforts are impactful. Progressing in this are requires a clear strategy. If you’re a regular listener you know that I am almost a zealot about strategy. Part of the reason that so many DEI efforts fail is because they lack strategy. A lot fail because they lack real commitment.
I’m going to briefly review 12 practices that I think are critical. I think that they’re best practices. This is not to say that I’m giving you an exhaustive list of best practices. I want to provide you with a few things to think about as you’re working on your DEI efforts.
