In June 1985 40 year old Carole Packman walked out of her family home in Bournemouth, England and was never seen again.
Her husband claimed she had moved to Europe or to Canada, but no trace of her has ever been found, and that husband is now serving a life sentence in one of Britain’s incredibly rare “no body” murder convictions.
This week we follow a daughter’s hunt for her mother which so far spans 35 years, in this twisted tale of insurance fraud and murder that’s almost stranger than fiction.
