Ask What You Desire
Today, we will build on our previous episode about abiding in Jesus, exploring the promise found in John 15. This verse reminds us of the incredible power of prayer and the blessings that come from remaining in Christ.

John 15:7 (NKJV) ~ "If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you."
Following up on our previous episode about the importance of abiding in Jesus, John 15:7 furthers this concept by highlighting the power of prayer and its potential. When we abide in Jesus, and His words abide in us, our desires align with His will. This alignment transforms our prayers, making them powerful and effective.
It’s essential to understand that this promise is not about fulfilling selfish desires but about praying in harmony with God's will. Our hearts and minds are transformed when we are deeply connected to Jesus. Our desires begin to reflect His desires, and our prayers become expressions of His will.
