First In The Morning
The Scripture of the day is from:
Psalm 5:3 (NKJV) ~ "My voice You shall hear in the morning, O Lord; In the morning I will direct it to You, And I will look up”.
This scripture highlights the importance of beginning our day with prayer. David, the psalmist, expresses his commitment to seek God first thing in the morning. He directs his voice to the Lord and looks up, symbolising an attitude of expectancy and reliance on God's guidance and provision for the day ahead.
Today, I challenge you to spend the first few minutes of your mornings in prayer and thankfulness for the next week. Observe how it impacts your mood, your interactions, and your overall sense of well-being. Let this practice be the foundation of your day, guiding you to walk in His presence and grace.
