Good morning, friends! Let’s dive into another story on Strong and Courageous.
There was a man named Zacchaeus. He wasn’t very tall, and when Jesus came to town, Zacchaeus couldn’t see over the crowd. So what did he do? He climbed up a tree to get a better look. When Jesus walked by, He looked up and said, 'Zacchaeus, come down. I’m going to your house today!' Everyone else thought Zacchaeus was a bad guy because he had been dishonest with money. But Jesus loved him anyway. That day, Zacchaeus’ life was changed forever.
Here’s what we can learn: Sometimes people might look down on us or think we’re not good enough. But Jesus sees us, knows our name, and wants to be with us.
Here’s your challenge: Remember today that Jesus loves you no matter what. And like Zacchaeus, when Jesus changes your heart, show it by living differently—be kind, be honest, and be generous.
This isStrong and Courageous. Jesus sees you, and He calls you by name.
