Good morning, friends! It’s time for another story on Strong and Courageous.
One night, Jesus’ disciples were in a boat on the lake when they saw Jesus walking on the water. At first, they were scared, but Jesus said, 'Don’t be afraid—it’s me!' Peter called out, 'Lord, if it’s you, let me come to you on the water.' Jesus said, 'Come!'
Peter stepped out of the boat and actually walked on water toward Jesus. But when he saw the wind and waves, he got scared and began to sink. Jesus reached out His hand and saved him.
Here’s what we can learn: When we keep our eyes on Jesus, we can do amazing things. But when we focus on our problems, we start to sink.
Here’s your challenge: If you feel worried today, stop and pray, 'Jesus, help me keep my eyes on You.'
