Hey friends, welcome back to Strong and Courageous! Have you ever forgotten to say ‘thank you’? Maybe your mom made your favorite dinner, or a friend shared a snack, and you forgot to say it. Well, today’s story is about a group of men who got healed by Jesus—but only one remembered to say thank you.
In Luke 17, ten men had leprosy, a terrible skin disease. They had to live outside the city and couldn’t be around other people. When they saw Jesus, they called out, ‘Jesus, Master, have mercy on us!’
Jesus told them to go show themselves to the priests. And as they went, they were healed! All ten were made clean. But only one man came back to Jesus, praising God in a loud voice. He threw himself at Jesus’ feet and thanked Him. And Jesus said, ‘Were not all ten cleansed? Where are the other nine?’ Then He told the thankful man, ‘Rise and go; your faith has made you well.’
