Hey friends, welcome back to Strong and Courageous! Have you ever wanted something so badly that you prayed and prayed for it? Today’s story is about a woman named Hannah, who showed us what it looks like to pray with all your heart.
In 1 Samuel chapter 1, Hannah really wanted to have a child, but she couldn’t. It made her very sad, and people even teased her about it. One day, she went to the temple and prayed with tears. She prayed so hard that the priest thought she was just mumbling! But God saw her heart.
Later, God answered her prayer and gave her a son, Samuel. And Hannah kept her promise to God—she dedicated Samuel to the Lord, and he grew up to be a great prophet.”
Hannah’s story reminds us that God always hears our prayers, even when they are quiet or full of tears. Sometimes God answers ‘yes,’ sometimes ‘no,’ and sometimes ‘wait.’ But He always listens, and He cares about what’s on our hearts. You can pray about anything—big or small—and trust that God hears you.
