Description

Hey friends, welcome back to Strong and Courageous! Have you ever felt like people overlook you — like maybe others get picked first, or your efforts go unnoticed? Well, guess what? God sees what others miss.

In 1 Samuel 16, the prophet Samuel was looking for the next king of Israel. He saw Jesse’s sons, and they all looked strong and tall. But God said, “Do not consider his appearance or his height, for the Lord does not look at the things people look at. The Lord looks at the heart.”

Then they brought in the youngest son — David. He wasn’t the biggest or the oldest, but God saw something special in him: a heart that loved Him.

Sometimes we think we’re too small, too quiet, or not talented enough to matter. But God doesn’t see like people do. He notices your kindness, your prayers, and your faithfulness when no one else does.

If you’re doing the right thing and no one seems to notice, keep going — because God sees, and He’s proud of you.
