TFG1Mike and David Draper dive deep into Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope as part of their 12 Months of Star Wars series. They discuss the film's enduring appeal, George Lucas's special editions and their impact on the original vision, the evolution of different versions across media (VHS, radio dramas, comics), sound design and John Williams' iconic score, production details like the Jabba the Hutt scene and multiple "Wedge" actors, and how the film holds up decades later when viewed through its original historical context rather than modern expectations.
