TFG1Mike and Steve Megatron revisit John Hughes' 1985 classic on its 40th anniversary. They discuss the film's enduring impact, the cast's performances, the iconic library setting, the characters' individual struggles and growth, and how the ensemble transforms from five stereotypes into genuine friends through a single day of detention. The hosts also explore the movie's memorable soundtrack, including Simple Minds' "Don't You Forget About Me," and reflect on how the film's themes of breaking down social barriers remain relevant.
