Trey Malicoat holds his master’s degree in Counseling Psychology and works as a personal coach and speaker. On the show today, Trey and I discuss how people are coping with the abundance of stress everyone has been experiencing over the past two and a half years.

Stress can be defined as the body’s response to a situation deemed threatening on some level. It can be triggered by a range of events. It’s important to understand constant stress has a damaging effect to the immune system and can create what is called adrenal fatigue.

Trey and I talk about the importance of learning to “practice mindfulness and live in the moment” if all of us want to stay healthy physically and emotionally.
