Perfectionism has been linked to both anxiety and depression as well as becoming burned out, obsessive-compulsive and anorexic. People who are perfectionists are seldom happy and tend to worry much of the time.
Perfectionists have an inner voice telling them they aren’t measuring up and no matter how hard they try, it still isn’t good enough. Dealing with this inner critic is difficult but, on our show today, Matthew Morales and I discuss several things that can help ease the stress of perfectionism.
