Are ghosts made of special energy? In 2021 a thousand people were polled and 41% said they believed in ghosts. Charles Dickens in his famous book, A Christmas Carol, introduces us to several ghosts as they help teach Ebenezer Scrooge the true meaning of Christmas. According to the Oxford English Dictionary, a ghost is defined as “an apparition of a dead person which is believed to appear or become manifest to the living, typically as a nebulous image”.
