Social support for caregivers is strongly correlated with improved health outcomes, reduced caregiver burden, increased psychological resilience, and the remediation of stigma. Online support groups have emerged as a vital lifeline for caregivers who are unable to attend in-person meetings due to time constraints, geographical limitations, or the all-consuming nature of caregiving.
We talk with Remo Health’s Head of Engagement, Jess Corona-Irwin, about Remo’s online Communityforum where caregivers and people living with dementia have a space to show up as they are, share their experiences with a community of others who understand, and get the care and support they need.
