We can function as a church should by seeing how we should function as Christ’s body. Here are four comparisons laid out by Paul.
1. Like a body, the church has many parts. (v.12-14)
2. Like a body, every member of the church is needed. (v.14-17)
3. Like a body, every member of the church depends on every other member. (v.18-26)
4. Like a body, each member is placed by God to function for His purpose. (v.27-31)
