Fred & his friend the priest discuss the war & compare their current situation to the crucifixion of Christ. For the first time, we are able to get a glimpse into what goes on inside Lieutenant Henry’s mind; it’s not much. He admittedly avoids thinking about difficult subject matter whenever possible.

In this episode, we will continue reading Ernest Hemingway’s novel A Farewell to Arms. Last time, we read & discussed chapter TWENTY-SIX of book THREE & now I will continue the story with chapter TWENTY-SEVEN. After reading, I will follow up with quick facts & my impressions.
