There's a lot of negativity and contempt towards AI programmes in general. But it's hard not to notice that the grievances people have aren't actually the fault of AI. They can't be, because WE are the ones responsible for the way AI programmes behave (their outputs).
Maybe we have some pent up anger about the state of society right now that needs to be addressed, and that means looking in the mirror before tearing apart the computer lab.
