She grew up in San Diego, California and her family was not necessarily religious, but she always felt like something was missing In her life.
While driving on the freeway at six years old, she could see the San Diego temple in the distance and would yell to her mom from the back seat, "Mommy, I'm going to go in there someday!"
Years later, she found out about the LDS religion through her best friends in high school. Through them, the missionaries, The Book Of Mormon, and a beautiful experience on the temple grounds of the San- Diego temple she decided to be baptized at 18!
