What happens when life feels out of your hands? One of our deepest anxieties is the fear of losing control — whether it’s over our circumstances, our plans, or even our future. But Scripture reminds us that while our grip is weak, God’s hands are steady.

- God Invites Us to Give Him Control (vv. 1–5): His call to “come” is an invitation to receive His provision without cost and to rest in His covenant promises.
- Fear of Lost Control Prevents Us from Following Christ (vv. 6–7): Our attempts to grasp control reveal a lack of trust. God isn’t hiding — He is near and ready to forgive when we turn to Him.
- God Is Already in Control (vv. 8–13): His wisdom is infinite, His Word brings growth, and His peace surpasses our striving.
When we cling tightly to control, we live in fear. But when we surrender, we find joy, hope, and lasting peace in the One who truly reigns.
