Welcome to Classic Ken, historically significant interviews by Hall of Fame journalist Ken Robinson.
The Malcolm Brown Art Gallery was a pioneering cultural hub in the affluent Cleveland suburb of Shaker Heights, opening it's doors on September 18th, 1980. Founded by artist Malcolm Brown and his wife Ernestine, it is recognized as one of the first for-profit, Black-owned fine art galleries in the United States.
You will hear Ken Robinson interview Ernestine Brown on his Black Viewpoint talk show, on WJMO Radio in 1982.
