We serve a God who does all things new. When He calls you, He will always give you a new identity. He is a God who upgrades us! Isaiah 43:18-19 admonishes us to unshackle ourselves from the the past and to look ahead for what God is about to unleash. In this week's episode we looked at people like Gideon, who asked the angel for a sign of confirmation that the Lord has indeed chosen him to deliver Israel in battle and Zechariah the Priest who, conversely, allowed doubt to get in the way of the Genesis of his promise. But the Lord is so gracious that He still fulfilled His promises to Zechariah. It is important that we do not disqualify ourselves from greatness because of its magnitude or even perceived inadequacies, but to lean into that which seem GRAND and impossible to achieve because it is God will bring it to pass. We emphasized that those called to be great will naturally carry a burden for something. And we closed on the question of ' What do you carry a burden for?'
