Description

In this episode, I’m diving into something that haunts a lot of us—whether we realize it or not: greed. And no, I don’t mean cartoonish corporate greed. I’m talking about the quiet, everyday kind that whispers “just a little more”—more money, more praise, more love, more success. I take a look at why we’re wired for it—how our ancient brains, dopamine addiction, and cultural obsession with productivity keep us chasing things that never fully satisfy. I talk through the emotional roots of greed: fear of scarcity, self-worth confusion, and our hunger to feel like we matter. And more importantly, I offer some ways to step off the treadmill. From redefining success and practicing gratitude to feeling your feelings without numbing out with “the next thing,” this is about healing—not shaming. Greed isn’t just a bad habit. It’s a symptom of something deeper. And in this episode, I share how we can start to name it, face it, and slowly loosen its grip. My email: jpdeoliveiraestevao@gmail.com
