Great to be joined by Wildwind Sailing beach manager and founder of Total Joyrider, Mr Joe Bennett! Having knows Joe for many years, it was great to actually sit down with him and have a proper chat about his sailing career, getting into seasons and creating a lifestyle for himself and his family that allow them to enjoy the things they love. We discussed his early career getting into the season life, to his current position being in charge of a whole team of instructors, as well as all the guests. We chatted about his process when managing people, a skill that unfortunately, many in those positions sorely lack. We chatted about everyone having a battle to fight, keeping staff happy despite the challenges of season life, social media in the young generation and a whole lot more! It's not the most heavy conversation in terms of mental health, but as I'm progressing with this podcast I think I'm realising what it is. I just want to talk to people about how they live their lives, and hopefully the listeners, and myself, can take some lessons to make daily life easier for ourselves. Joe has definitely lived a great life, and the fact he's build a lifestyle where he continues a career in what he loves, living in an amazing place and raising a family is something we can all learn from. It's amazing all the silly things, daily coffee, gadgets etc we really don't need in order to be happy A big tv always helps though 😅 Hope you all enjoy 🙏
