With Cain gone, Iris finds herself face to face against the journalistic prowess of Reed Moore (played by guest star Dan MacDonald) as she tries to buy enough time for Zak, Dr. Egan, and Evelyn to rescue her. Meanwhile, Cain finds himself caught in the clutches of Bull Steele, who appears to be going rogue in order to discover the secrets of Oakhurst.
