Nikhil, Ryan, Yoshi and Akira give their thoughts on the NBA Draft that took place over the week, and Eli shows some love to fellow Colorado State Ram and new Memphis Grizzly, David Roddy. Nikhil shares some breaking news to the pod, with a hot take surrounding number 2 overall pick Chet Holmgren, and the guys break down all new news around the league. They send their thoughts and prayers to Lil Tjay, and give their takes on the violence that has been occurring all over the country. Dahlia speaks on her experience at the San Francisco Pride Parade, and the whole team sends their love to everyone celebrating Pride Month. The team discusses Giveon and Omarion's recent performances, in which both fail to showcase their talents as singers.
The pod takes a turn into an intense conversation about growing up during a time of so much social change and division, and each member of the pod offers their perspective on the current state of the world. They share their thoughts on the recent overturning of Roe vs. Wade, and send prayers for all the women effected by it, and discuss why older generations refuse to progress and work together with the youth. Finally, the guys speak on the 2022 XXL Freshmen Class, and debate weather the list still holds the same cultural relevance as it did years ago, and the group names one person they would want to interview or have on the pod.
