Thomaz Cauchi always wanted to be an artist. Despite being incredibly talented, at the age of 16 his teachers pushed Thomaz and his parents to send him Junior College. Not wanting to continue studying subjects he didn't enjoy, Thomaz left and quite by chance found himself working as a successful dealer in a local casino, and then went on to a lucrative career in iGaming.
In this edition of The Interviewer, Thomaz shares his story of finding his way back to his original passion at the age of 29 and embarking on a creative career as a tattoo artist.
Today Thomaz is one of Malta's best tattooists, only working on pieces he is proud to put his name to. Thomaz is also an accomplished artist working in black and white, sketching and drawing. But more than anything, this is the story of a man who when asked 'if you could do it all differently what would you do?', decided to go to every length to do it differently now.
