Description

Welcome to the third edition of The SHE Word Afterhours, a less ‘censored’ edition of the show, where Trudy sits down with three guests who aren’t afraid to share their thoughts on current topics and challenges, and for whom we take no responsibility...

In this mostly hilarious, sometimes serious edition, Host Trudy is joined by regulars Sue Caruana and Tez Sabina, and special guest Gianni Zammit.

The conversation bounces around the topics of Christmas Decorations, Opening Crisps from the wrong end, summer and winter bed sheets, and much more with brilliantly funny exchanges and innuendo. The four contemplate their parallel lives and show intros and go on to get distracted by whether or not it is possible that Gianni’s daughter is just to extraordinary to be his.

The show also takes a deeper and more serious look at the resilience of the children we are raising, the impact of the ‘participation medal culture’ and the result of over-protective parenting, whilst Gianni presents his outstanding ‘pendulum theory’.

The episode goes on to take a deeper dive into AI and our dependence on technology, the impact it is having on our children, and the long term on us as adults, whilst asking the question ‘can you remember your childhood phone number?’

And the show returns to the light-hearted banter as the table bonds over belly lights about the garbage, Tez’s husband’s squeaky door, Gianni’s pet hate for WhatsApp groups, Trudy’s grinch attitude, and Sue’s insistence that Tez should ‘flush the fegking toilet’

Loose yourself and unwind in a brilliantly comically and surprisingly deep episode of The SHE Word Afterhours, perfect for your daily commute, background entertainment to your weekly chores, company whilst cooking, or outright relaxing entertainment, BUT DO NOT MISS this podcast GOLD.
