The statistics are staggering. Whilst over the past decade 234 children have been adopted by families in Malta, the majority of adoptions are from foreign countries with only 27 Maltese children having been adopted.
This moving and tear jerking show shares the journeys of three women who have adopted under very different circumstances, but with one common passion - to share their love and the love of their family with a child who desperately needs it.
Host Trudy Kerr discusses the details of the joys and challenges of adoption with Dorianne Catania - who has two children Jenna and Ryker, Jenna is a beautiful young little girl adopted from India, Elaine Micallef Avallone is a psychotherapist, and her and her wife Roann have an open adoption with their Maltese adopted daughter, and Charmaine Attard Bezzina who is a lecturer at MCAST and mum to her adopted son.
