Twitch was an absolute joy to watch and his death has many reflecting on what a person in crisis really looks like. Netflix released a new documentary highlighting the lengths people will go to to appease authority and it has us shook. Don’t Pick Up the Phone revisits a string of hoax calls across the country that had fast food managers doing some really questionable things. As usual, the Internet has Tawny frustrated with the lack of critical thinking used when discussing the differences between men & women and she explores the roots of toxic masculinity. The women reflect on how we’re conditioned to accept certain behaviors and why it’s so easy to think we’re doing okay when we’re really in danger. With the world being so heavy it’s hard to find the balance between staying informed & staying sane; Tawny and Maria try to find the happy medium & open up about how it affects the podcast.
