Description

My guest this week, Dr. Peter Rojcewicz has intrigued me since I first encountered his expansive views on creativity and the the poetic voice during a lecture I attended at the Pacifica Graduate Institute. I had the occasion to visit the beautiful campus outside Santa Barbara and we sat down to talk further about those topics, and how depth psychology holds key ingredients for a transformative change of culture and perspecitve.

Dr. Rojcewicz is a higher education administrator and professor, folklorist, and poet, and is currently Provost and Vice President of Academic Affairs at Pacifica Graduate Institute.

Trained in folklore and folk life, English and American literature, and depth psychology, he is an authority on archetypal images and symbols. He has taught the humanities, fairy tales, myths, comparative religions and folk belief systems at several universities, as well as at the C.G. Jung Foundation for Analytical Psychology, New York.
