We all do it—gripping onto control like our lives depend on it. But here’s the truth: you can’t be fully in Christ and fully in control at the same time.
The spirit of control is destroying your peace. It leads to exhaustion, frustration, manipulation, and anxiety. And yet, we refuse to let go. Why? Because we believe the biggest lie of the enemy:
👉 “If you’re not in control, you won’t be happy.”
But what if control is the very thing keeping you from the life God has for you? What if your constant need to steer is wrecking your faith?
💡 Matthew 16:21-26 reminds us that chasing comfort and control is a losing game. True peace comes when you stop trying to control the river—and start flowing with it. 🌊
âť“ Is Jesus your steering wheel or just your tow truck? Are you trusting Him daily, or just calling Him when things fall apart?
